How a Heat Pump Works:
A heat pump is a device that draws hot air from the outside atmosphere, raises the temperature, and transfers it to the cold water present in a water tank. It is also referred to as source heat pump because it uses ”Air” to heat the water. Naturally, it has a 55-degree temperature.
It also uses electricity to heat the water when:
- Presence of cloudy weather
- When used more than the capacity
- When needing a higher than 55-degree temperature.
- Heat Pumps are automatic systems; you can even set the temperature via remote from 55 to 75 degrees.
- Heat Pumps automatically switch to electrical mode when they are not able to meet your requirements naturally.
- When Heat Pumps are used in electric mode, they are more efficient than conventional heating systems, e.g., Electrical geysers.
